Solution : The fix for me was to disable SSL verification at configuration >>
system >> payment methods >> PayPal payment solutions
>> Enable SSL verification . If you were testing on the localhost
as well, re-enable the option on your live site to check whether it
works. Otherwise just disable it until a proper fix has been found for
magento 1.7 +
I think it may help you !!!!
Its not working for me :| , am using Magento 1.7.0.2
ReplyDeleteI am having the same problem with 1.7.0.2 as well and this does not fix the issue. It has been workin fine for several months and just out of nowhere this is happening. I didnt make any changes in the magento backend or with any of the code. Any other ideas?
ReplyDeleteI confirmed this works. You just have to disable SSL in 2-3 places. Just open all of the hidden tabs under Payment Method and turn to NO.

I believe this problem is a server problem because when I test it on both hospapa and justhost servers, it works perfectly but not in my server. There must be something that needs to be installed on the server and I have no clue what it is.
ReplyDeletehaving the same issue with 1.7.0.2 also and this does not settle the issue. It has been workin fine for a few months and only all of a sudden this is going on.
